Beverly Hills Doctor Accused of Drugging & Sexually Assaulting Unconscious Employee

A Beverly Hills doctor, Babak Hajhosseini, aged 42, has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting an unconscious employee. He was arrested on November 26, 2024, and subsequently charged with several counts including:⁠

• Two counts of rape by use of drugs⁠

• One count of rape of an unconscious or asleep person⁠

• One count of oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance⁠

• Four counts of oral copulation of an unconscious or asleep person⁠

Hajhosseini is the founder of the Wound and Burn Centers of America and has also worked as a visiting physician at Catalina Island Health. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) alleges that he used job recruiting websites to lure potential victims by offering high hourly wages. Once employed, he would invite these individuals to work overtime at his residence where he allegedly pressured at least one victim to consume an alcoholic beverage, leading to her unconsciousness. After which, the assault purportedly took place, with Hajhosseini recording the incident.⁠

Investigators believe there might be more victims due to the method used to identify and target potential victims. Hajhosseini has denied the allegations through his attorney, who claims there is “substantial evidence proving that these allegations are false” and that Hajhosseini passed a voluntary polygraph test. Despite these claims, he was indicted by a grand jury and charged formally.⁠
