The 30th Annual Central Avenue Jazz Festival takes place in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11 AM to 7 PM, hosted by LA City Councilmember Curren Price, District 9. Held along historic Central Avenue between Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and Vernon Avenue, this free, family-friendly event marks three decades of jazz excellence.

Experience electrifying performances by world-class artists, including GRAMMY-winning storyteller Gregory Porter, legendary conguero Poncho Sánchez, and vocal sensation Jazzmeia Horn. Discover soulful melodies, explore the vibrant Arts Pavilion showcasing stunning installations, and enjoy delicious culinary offerings, all while celebrating the rich cultural legacy of South Central L.A.
