Founded in 2018 by Alrick “Butta” Augustine, Keep It Run Hundred is Inglewood’s vibrant, Black-led run club that’s redefining community wellness in South Central Los Angeles. With a motto of “there is no last place,” this inclusive group welcomes runners of all paces, hosting weekly 3-mile runs every Thursday at 7 p.m. along Crenshaw Boulevard, fostering physical and mental health through themed events like Ladies Night and Juneteenth 5K runs, often in partnership with Nike and local organizations like the SoLa Foundation. Keep It Run Hundred’s commitment to building supportive bonds and uplifting reluctant runners of color makes it a cornerstone of community, inspiration, and movement in LA.
