A New Hotel Experience — PUBLIC West Hollywood is Opening in WeHo
The iconic Standard Hotel space on the Sunset Strip is getting a full reinvention — and it's in good hands. Legendary hotelier Ian Schrager is taking over the property and transforming it into PUBLIC West Hollywood, a new luxury hotel that opens July 15th. The redesigned space will feature a rooftop park, technology-forward accommodations, and a nightclub, all built around Schrager's signature "luxury for all" philosophy — the idea that world-class hospitality shouldn't be exclusive. If the early renderings are any indication, PUBLIC West Hollywood is going to be one of the most talked-about spots in the city before the year is out.

Street Takeovers Drop Across Los Angeles County
Street takeovers — the dangerous high-speed driving events that became a fixture across LA County — are on the decline, according to new data. Increased enforcement, stiffer penalties, and community pressure appear to be making a dent in what had become a serious public safety concern across the region.

Marathon Burger Launches Scary Movie Limited Edition Meal
Marathon Burger is celebrating the release of the new Scary Movie with a limited edition meal — and they're giving away 300 free meals this Friday to mark the occasion. If you're a fan of the franchise and a bigger fan of free food, this is your sign to pull up early. Marathon Burger continues to show why it's one of LA's most culturally tapped-in spots.

SoFi Stadium Workers May Go on Strike Before the World Cup
2,000 SoFi Stadium hospitality workers are voting on whether to authorize a strike after contract negotiations stalled — and the timing couldn't be more high stakes with the World Cup on the horizon. The workers, represented by Unite Here Local 11, are pushing for better wages and working conditions at one of the most high-profile venues in the country. .
