WOMAN WHO FIRED SHOTS AT RIHANNA’S HOME FACES LIFE IN PRISON

The legal situation surrounding the shooting at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home has intensified as the suspect, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, was officially charged on March 10, 2026, with 14 felony counts, including attempted murder and 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. Prosecutors revealed that Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, their three young children, and Rihanna’s mother were all on the property when Ortiz allegedly fired approximately 10 shots from an AR-15-style rifle. If convicted on all charges, the 35-year-old Florida woman faces life in a California state prison.

During her initial court appearance, a judge issued a protective order requiring Ortiz to stay away from the family, while her bail was set at $1.8 million. While a motive is still under investigation, authorities are looking into social media posts where Ortiz appeared to have a fixation on the singer. In the wake of the terrifying incident, Rihanna and her family were reportedly spotted leaving Los Angeles via private jet as the case heads toward a formal arraignment scheduled for March 25.
